How GrabSketch calculates project cost
What the cost estimate is made of, why prices depend on your country and how to set your own.
Cost is calculated automatically from your project: GrabSketch counts how many sheets, how much edge banding, how many cuts, hinges and runners you need, and multiplies that by prices.
The total is made up of several parts:
- Sheets, edge banding and worktops
- Production services — cutting, edge banding, drilling
- Hardware — hinges, handles, runners
- Fasteners
- Appliances and plumbing
- Additional costs — installation, delivery; set separately for each project
Prices depend on the country. We put together base prices for each country separately, so the estimate stays close to the real market. Make sure your country is set correctly in the settings.
You can use your own prices. Create your own price list in the «Presets» section — it applies to all your projects. You can return to base prices at any time.
The catalog is still growing. Not every item has a price yet: such items are marked «Price not set» and are left out of the total. We keep adding new categories — if the one you need is missing, write to us.
